Monthly Tick Control Services

• Applications last for approximately 1 month.

• Ticks are constantly emerging and questing for a blood meal on your property.

• Animals are constantly transporting ticks onto your property throughout the year, thus creating a dangerous environment for your family, friends and pets.

• Spraying monthly (April thru November) is the best way to control these disease spreading parasites.

Don't forget to visit our mosquito control page.

Monthly Spray Applications

April
This application sets the stage for the entire season by targeting emerging adult ticks questing for a blood meal and laying eggs on your property (each female lays 3,000 and 6,000 eggs).
May/June
These applications work together to target the ticks (nymphs and adults) emerging and questing for a blood meal on your property before they transfer tick-borne disease to your family, friends and pets.
July/August
These applications target the ticks hatching in July and August (larvae) and nymphs that aggressively quest for blood meals on your property, before they create a very dangerous environment around your home.
September
Ticks continue to feed on anyone they can attach themselves to, creating a dangerous situation hiding on your property and spreading tick-borne diseases. This application targets infected ticks that have dropped off host animals throughout the year and are now searching for a blood meal.
October/November
Spraying in the fall is highly recommended as ticks become very aggressive. They need to feed once more before winter in order to survive until spring. This application will greatly reduce next year's tick infestation.
December - March
We do not treat properties during the winter months due to the significantly reduced risk presented by ticks during these months. However we strongly recommend that you obtain your free estimate and/or subscribe to our newsletter in preparation for April.

Non Spray Applications

Spring / Fall Damminix
Damminix applications are recommended for properties that are close to fields or wooded areas. Small cardboard tubes are filled with specially treated cotton and strategically placed throughout your property. small animals and rodents find and bring back to their dens to use as nesting materials. Each time the animals lies down on the cotton all the ticks on the animal die
Nest Boxes
East End Tick Control makes and installs nest boxes for owls, hawks and other birds of prey that feed on mice and rodents which can help greatly reduce the local tick and rodent population (mice can carry hundreds of ticks). Have a nest box installed on your property.
